ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The family of Tracy Henton-Williams expressed relief as Roger Wiggins was convicted for a second time for her murder. The guilty verdict was delivered Wednesday afternoon. “I said thank you lord. And it was just a feeling of immense emotion,” Aliah Henton-Williams, Tracy’s sister, said. Tracy’s daughter, Takia Cushnie, and Henton-Williams said, while this is not closure, they hope it means they won’t have to see Wiggins again.

HENRIETTA, N.Y. – Eighteen new firefighters are ready to serve across our area, graduating at a time when New York state faces a significant shortage of firefighters. According to FASNY there are approximately 80,000 volunteer firefighters statewide, however more than two decades ago there were roughly 40,000 more volunteers serving in these critical roles. At the same time call volume has increased.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Police were searching for suspects after two people were killed in a shooting at a vacant house in Rochester. This was not the first time a vacant home attracted crime in the city. We went to the neighborhood to speak with Rochester City Councilmember Bridget Monroe, who represents the district where the shooting occurred.
