    NEW YORK (PIX11)—Those unsightly scaffolds that are seen as part of the city’s fabric have long been an eyesore in New York. Nearly 400 miles of scaffolds and construction sheds are throughout the city. On Wednesday, the City Council declared enough is enough and passed a series of bills to reform outdated rules and shed more light on the city. By unanimous approval, it was a vote the city has long awaited, with the hope of finally shedding the sheds.
