The auctions will be held in three separate locations throughout Ithaca on Friday morning. According to a press release from the Ithaca Police Department, buyers can pay using cash, cashier’s check or certified check.

ITHACA, N.Y. — The Ithaca Voice has been invited to participate in an upcoming Monk’s Gives Back night, where supporters can come to Monk’s on the Commons on the ground-floor of the downtown Ithaca Marriott to show their support for your local news non-profit organization. Starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 50 percent of all food and beverages purchased at Monk’s on the Commons throughout the evening will go towards supporting The Ithaca Voice.

Kehlani’s performance was canceled last week over the singer’s previous statements about the war in Gaza. Gunna, who’s been nominated for four Grammy Awards, will be joined by opener DJ duo Louis the Child.

ITHACA, N.Y. — An Ithaca man missing since March was found safe Thursday, according to the Ithaca Police Department Lt. Mary Orsaio. The man, 32-year-old Marcus Turner, was found in the Bronx. Orsaio thanked those who helped the police in their efforts to locate Turner. Turner was initially reported missing to the police in March. However, he had not actually been seen since Oct. 19, 2024, according to a police press release at the time.

ITHACA, N.Y. — For the first time, Ithaca residents will have the opportunity to directly impact the city’s spending through a participatory budgeting survey lasting until May 19. Ithacans’ first participatory budgeting task: redesigning the plaza outside Ithaca’s City Hall to make it a more “welcoming, useful space based on residents’ ideas and needs,” according to an announcement from the city.
