ROCK ISLAND, Illinois (KWQC) - When police say Jaron Bailey-Harris walked into a T-Mobile store in Davenport last week and robbed four people and the registers inside, he was wearing a GPS monitor for a crime he’s suspected of committing in Rock Island. Police say the 18-year-old stole the car that triggered a day-long manhunt after a mother lied to police that her 4-year-old was in the car.

A memo from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth earlier this month called for drastic restructuring and job cuts. That’s rattled more than 6,000 Quad-Cities residents employed on the base. LECLAIRE, Iowa (KWQC) - The Scott County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation and began collecting evidence this morning after a van driver died at a rail crossing. The driver who died on Canal Shore Drive just south of Cody Road was an 84-year-old man from Davenport, according to a news release. Crash-reconstruction experts now are collecting evidence and will piece together what led to the impact, Sheriff Tim Lane told TV6 Investigates.
