The work to replace the Squirrelwood Road Bridge over Route 80 in Woodland Park is expected to be completed in the fall. WOODLAND PARK — A year into the Squirrelwood Road Bridge replacement project, state officials said the work is on schedule to be completed by this fall. However, work at the nearby Taft Avenue walkway, which also spans Interstate 80, a few hundred feet up the road, has no estimated completion date, state Transportation Department officials said.

The MOVE app has been downloaded by 1,500 residents and use to get a free ride by 728. After June 20, the rides will cost $1.80 each. Rides must be within city limits. There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but until June 20, Clifton and Passaic residents can enjoy a free ride as part of the Passaic County MOVE promotion, a new county-sponsored ride-sharing service.
