The Kia EV6 looks amazing, and I'm sure it is. Any news regarding manufacturing this in the US like the Hyundai Ioniq 5? see moreWe have a 2025 EV9 Land AWD. It is a fine vehicle which allows for a comfortable 6 passengers and groceries. We are off grid on solar so we charge almost exclusively on our 20 kW array. The regenerative braking allows for up to 150 kW restorative on the hills. The big bonus is the vehicle to home feature.

Ford is in the rear view mirror, GM is at the BYDs B pillar contesting 3rd/4th place. VW and Toyota are out front but fading fast. ps Toyota down 7% in September. It's 8th consecutive month of declinesee moreThat's the price Toyota pays for hydrogen obsession. see moreToyota do seem very stubborn. My theory is they are building up a huge war chest and will use that to make a dramatic pivot in 12-18 months. see moreI am ambivalent at best and would be ok with Toyota disappearing entirely.

Just another needlessly costly scam. Just the fact they put a small solar panel and vertical WT, shows they are incompetent technically as not even a rounding error charging EVs.The solution is cheap and easy, just a pole drop to a prewired roll of stations they just roll out, glue down, connect to the pole. For those who need street charging, one can have their own pole drop cheaply, especially if on the pole. Another is a long FG pole over the sidewalk and drop down a cord to the EV.

As long as overall sales of all cars (any propulsion system) is going down but pure electrics are going up, it's the best. see moreMany of the charts show the tiny share of EVs in the US. We need to make more progress! But also we need a carbon-dumping-into-the-atmosphere fee! Land transportation is just 1/6 of the problem, so I've heard!see moreOverall, car market is down. Hard times. Supply chain disruption, inflation and interesest rate hike.

Toyota has always just been an ICE manufacturer impersonating a green manufacturer. The hydrogen project was so small it was fully funded by California CARB credits, and with literally hundreds of hydrogen car sales, the board could completely ignore the project, as a nano-tech project with No Effect on Toyota gas sales. Toyota is still a majority ICE manufacturer. The Prius was a We-Hate-You green car too.
