CLEVELAND, Ohio — Thirty-five quarterbacks have been picked in the first round of the last 10 years of the NFL Draft. That’s 10 years and 35 samples of opinions from the nation’s leading draft experts, including Mel Kiper Jr., Todd McShay, Daniel Jeremiah and Dane Brugler. They have dissected Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders atop this year’s draft, but what they have said in the past offers a reflection of just how accurate that analysis can be.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Former ESPN NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay, now working for The Ringer, does not think the Tennessee Titans will trade the No. 1 overall pick and grant another team the opportunity to take Cam Ward. McShay made this point on “The Todd McShay Show,” which posted Thursday morning with a mock draft and the Titans up first. “I don’t want to spend time on things that don’t need a lot of time spent on them,” McShay said.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Should the Browns not take Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders with the No. 2 pick in this months NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers are among the teams to watch who could go after him. They will reportedly host Sanders on Thursday for a top 30 visit, according to reports including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac.
