National champion LSU (53-15) was ranked first and national runner-up Coastal Carolina (56-13) was ranked second in the poll. Arkansas (50-15) was the only other team to reach 50 wins. The Razorbacks went 2-2 at the College World Series, with both losses to LSU by scores of 4-1 and 6-5. Arkansas defeated Murray State 3-0 and UCLA 7-3 in Omaha.

    FAYETTEVILLE — Two Arkansas baseball players were voted to the College World Series All-Tournament Team on Sunday. Arkansas pitcher Gage Wood and outfielder Justin Thomas made the team that was announced after LSU defeated Coastal Carolina 5-3 to win the national championship. The team was voted on by media members who covered the CWS. Wood threw a 119-pitch no-hitter and struck out 19 during the Razorbacks’ 3-0 victory over Murray State last Monday.

A team spokesman confirmed he intends to enter the portal. Fraser played in 28 games and started 13 this year as a freshman for the Razorbacks. He batted .250 with 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run.
