CONWAY, Ark. – Residents along Factory Street in Conway got an unexpected wake-up call this morning when a black bear was spotted roaming the neighborhood and eventually climbed up a tree in someone’s backyard. “It was very shocking and surprising to know that a bear was in the backyard,” said Sylvier Roddy, who lives nearby. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission responded to the scene, where officials worked to remove the bear safely. “It’s pretty common this time of year,” Daniels explained.
