EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The Passover Seder is one of my favorite meals to make. Okay, sometimes the ceremony is a bit long. It's not really appetizing to talk about "murrain" or boils or even frogs during dinner. That jelly around the gefilte fish in the jar isn't really a turn-on, either. But the fact that people stay at the table together for four hours sometimes is unheard of at any other family celebration.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - It wouldn't be a backhanded compliment to say that Ronnie Li, East Brunswick's “Queen of Racket Sports,” aced this one.

Well, we may have missed Milltown Mel on Groundhog Day, but nobody should miss Milltown Bianca of Bella Bianca Italian Deli. The location also offers authentic Italian packaged foods like oils, pasta, and sauce in a sparkling display.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Grab your shamosh and light your menorah tonight as Hanukkah begins an eight-night celebration of the victory of light over darkness. Open the cabinets and pull out the good china and all those special plates that will be piled high with traditional foods of this happy week (plus an extra day, just because it's special!) Will some of the naysayers try the gefilte fish this year?

NEW JERSEY - This holiday season, try something a bit nontraditional, something a little sweet and savory to accompany either turkey or ham on your holiday table: cranberry chutney, a condiment that punches up a seasonal local ingredient with some South Asian flair. Chutney is made from fruits, vegetables and/or herbs with vinegar, sugar and spices. It's used to provide balance to an array of dishes, or highlight a specific flavor profile.

MILWAUKEE, WI – The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee, WI, has immortalized Rutgers mascot Sir Henry as a bobblehead. Sir Henry makes hundreds of appearances a year at football games, home men's and women's basketball games, tournaments, bowl games, numerous on-campus and off-campus events, corporate functions, and even ESPN commercials. The now iconic mascot wasn't always the face of Rutgers University, though.
