The man, 43-year-old Marcell Meyer, is accused of using a social media app on his phone to distribute child pornography to other users of the app. In one instance, Meyer allegedly sent child pornography to an undercover HSI agent of someone who Meyer believed to be a 13-year-old girl.

    TOLEDO, O.H. (WSYR-TV) — The Cornell men’s hockey team upset one-seed Michigan State 4-3, in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday. Skaneateles native Charlie Major assisted Sullivan Mack who scored the winning goal for Cornell on a power play with ten seconds left in the third period. Major also scored his fifth goal of the season earlier in the game for the Big Red.

    SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse police say a man shot himself in the head after police tracked him down following a shots fired call on Thursday afternoon, March 27. Police were first called to Weiser Court around 1:15 p.m. for shots fired inside a residence, but the suspect had fled when officers arrived. The man who fled was later tracked down at an address at the 100 block of Amherst Avenue near South Salina Street, according to SPD.
