KERHSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) announced they have found an 11-year-old boy who was reported missing. Deputies were searching for Jaydence Johnson, who was last seen around the 3000 block of Hunter Road in Kershaw while wearing a grey t-shirt and blue shorts with a black and grey book bag. At around 7:45 a.m., KCSO said Johnson was found safely. They thanked members of the community for their assistance in locating him.

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - One person is dead after the Lexington County School District Two confirmed a bus carrying students was involved in a crash in Chester County Thursday. The South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed one person died following the collision. Lancaster County EMS said multiple people were injured, many of whom are in critical condition, according to WIS News 10 sister station WBTV in Charlotte.

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WIS/Gray News) - Firefighters rescued a woman who was trapped in a 16-foot well on Wednesday. According to the Orangeburg County Fire District, crews were dispatched around 3:30 p.m.They ventilated the well with fresh air when they arrived and used a tripod and rope rigging to lower a firefighter down to rescue the woman. The woman said she was doing yard work with her husband and clearing some overgrown plants when she fell in.
