CLEVELAND, Ohio -- In May, 17 homes sold for at least $1 million across Cuyahoga County, outpacing April for the largest number of high-dollar sales in any month this year. May’s top sales took place in Lakewood, Hunting Valley, Beachwood, Gates Mills, Chagrin Falls, Euclid, Shaker Heights, Pepper Pike, Cleveland, Brecksville, Solon, Rocky River, Westlake and Independence. The top sale went to a 5,022-square-foot home on Nicholson Avenue in Lakewood that fetched $2.6 million.

UH received schematic approval on Friday from the Cleveland City Planning Commission for its 40,000-square-foot Iris and Bert Wolstein Center. The three-story building will be located on a 1.7-acre site on Euclid Avenue at UH’s main campus, adjacent to Severance Hall and Case Western Reserve University’s campus.
