"It was an exciting moment, for sure, just to come back and be able to play a big game in front of a lot of people, obviously family, friends, people that I love and care about," SIUE junior Myles Thompson said. Mason is the top-rated quarterback in Kansas for the 2026 class. The junior quarterback is in his second season as the Grizzlies' signal caller, and he's led the team to a 7-1 record this year. The Grizzlies were eliminated in the second round of the playoffs last year, their earliest postseason exit since 2016.
