In what was a previous game filled with home runs and extra base knocks, MSSU’s game against the Mules will be remembered as one where all seven Lions runs scored without a single hit. MSSU jumped ahead in the first inning via a bases loaded hit-by-pitch from Nate Mieszkowski.

PITTSBURG, KS — Pitt State softball punched its ticket as the five seed in the central region portion of the division II national tournament. The Gorillas first round matchup will be against Rogers State, the same team that would knock them out of MIAA tournament play in the semifinal round. Despite falling to the Hillcats, PSU got the better of Rogers State in both regular season meetings this year.
