Kingston Grisolono of Kewaskum baseball was the winner of last week's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel high school Piggly Wiggly athlete of the week poll for May 12 through May 17. The sophomore went 6-for-9 at the plate with a single, double, three triples, home run, walk, four runs scored, four stolen bases and nine RBIs during a 3-0 week for the East Central Conference leaders. Grisolono earned a dominant 10,080 out of 12,326 total votes cast in the poll.

As the 2025 regular season for high school softball winds down over this week, we've arrived at the final area power rankings this year. Defending Division 1 state champion Kenosha Bradford went coast-to-coast as the area's No. 1 program all season with a 22-1 mark coming into the final rankings, but it isn't the only team to dominate around the area this season. Sussex Hamilton, led by a dominant duo inside the circle and a fierce lineup at the plate, nipped at the top spot all season.
