U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Sunday announced “targeted operations” in Chicago, and made several arrests in metro Atlanta Sunday, Telemundo Atlanta reported. Some arrests took place on Buford Highway in Chamblee and Brookhaven, Telemundo reported. Others happened in Lilburn and Tucker, community members told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

If the night seems brighter near you, look up. The full moon on Wednesday marks the third of four consecutive supermoons, and it’s the brightest by a small margin. The moon is closer, relatively to Earth, making it a supermoon that may seem bigger and brighter than the supermoons in August and September, The Associated Press reported. It will reach its full lunar phase Thursday.

Carter, who died this month at 96 after battling dementia, began her final journey Monday where it started, in her native Southwest Georgia. Three days of memorial events are planned.
