HENRY COUNTY, Ill. — The west and eastbound lanes of I-80 were briefly closed Friday afternoon in Henry County as crews responded to a crash involving four vehicles, officials said. According to the Illinois State Police, officers responded to milepost 11 on eastbound I-80 around 3 p.m. on Friday. This is located in Henry County, east of I-74. WQAD's own Andrew Stutzke was caught in heavily backed-up traffic as a result of the lane closures.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Attorneys gave opening statements on Wednesday in a Davenport double homicide trial. 28-year-old Adriana Blake and 35-year-old Devon Braet are accused of killing 44-year-old Brian Goodwin and 44-year-old Amy Smith in January 2024. In the early morning hours of Jan. 16, 2024, first responders were dispatched to the 5200 block of North Division Street for a fire. Goodwin's and Smith's bodies were found in the residence.
