New Ohio US Sen. Bernie Moreno has introduced a new bill that he says will close a federal loophole that is being abused. Moreno, who is serving his first team as a Senator after defeating Democrat Sherrod Brown last November, introduced the bill this week. Moreno said that under current law, some people come into the United States illegally, immediately claim asylum and are allowed to stay in the US for many years until their case is heard.

A significant winter storm has caused major headaches and frustration for people in Cincinnati, with mayor Aftab Pureval facing criticism. On Wednesday night, Pureval addressed the noise and how the city of Cincinnati has handled the winter weather. “The amount of snow and how quickly it fell in such a short amount of time was a challenge,” Pureval said. “We always are trying to get better, there’s no doubt that when Friday comes, in just a couple of days, our crews will be ready.

It's a survival story that will remind people of the good in this world and how much there is to live for. Thomas Tally said a cancer diagnosis sent his mind spiraling into a dark place. Early last year, the 61-year-old from Silverton was getting his annual health tune-up when a call came in that you never want to answer. "His levels took a big spike from one year to the next, which set off an alarm signal that something was going on," Dr. Justin Cox with Christ Hospital Urology said.
