Health officials said there is no risk to the public, however. The department was notified May 7 of a probable case of measles, according to a notice released May 8 from the department and Public Health Director Kate Ott.

Tyree X. Littlejohn, 21, of Shortsville, was charged April 24 with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing, both class A misdemeanors, deputies said.

MANCHESTER — Jack's Kitchen is closed today and perhaps longer after a vehicle on Monday morning crashed into the building housing the diner. The restaurant at 11 S. Main St., will be closed until it gets fixed, which will involve an engineer, according to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page. The crash left a large hole in the side of the building, exposing the inside to the elements. According to State Police, troopers arrived at the restaurant shortly before 5:30 a.m. Monday.
