It is very sad that you have so few. see moreAnd only 2 value EVs in the lot. Sadly almost all of these are in need of a complete redesign for lower weight, cost to build as otherwise they won't be able to complete. We are beginning of a 4 yr recession that will not be kind to ICEs or uncompetitive EVsThose that do will thrive, and the rest, die. see moreWe're still waiting on that new Bolt, which is supposed to be the same-as-before Bolt that has a newer, better battery pack retrofitted.

i love the notion of a cash for clunkers program to eliminate ICE from the road. I believe however, that a cash for clunkers that provides incentive to buy a new ICE, even one with better gas mileage, is just unhelpful but is actually counter productive for global warming. A new ICE car not only has a carbon footprint from emissions during production, but also supports automakers to continue investing in, and producing ICE vehicles.

Is it just another of the dozen startups that have promised 100% Si batteries over the past decade ? Are they producing at scale ? At a competitve cost? And the statement "silicon EV battery that does away with cobalt" shows a fundamental misunderstanding by making it seem like they are somehow related. Si is for the anode, and Cobalt would be used is on the cathode side. Many batteries could substitute a non-Co material like LFP or LMO for the typical Co containing cathode, regardless of the anode.

Or follow us on Google News!Ford and Mercedes have learned to their sorrow that there is more to the game of selling an electric car than “Build it and they will come.” There was a time not so long ago when Tesla was selling every electric car it could weld, bolt, or glue together. It was building new factories in Shanghai, Texas, and Germany, and planning to sell 10 million EVs a year by the end of this decade.

Sure, there are HOAs out there that play fair, act reasonably, and don’t contribute to the bad reputation that HOAs have earned for decades. However, unreasonable restrictions on everything imaginable, a lack of mercy for people struggling financially or with their health, and even criminal activity have plagued enough HOAs to make people wary of them.
