KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Kissimmee Police Department will make changes in the wake of a months-long independent investigation into the conduct of some of the city’s police officers surrounding a 2023 use of force case, according to WKMG (News 6). Since last year, News 6 has been following the controversy that caused the Kissimmee Police Chief to resign, and a former officer to plead guilty to criminal charges that could lead to prison time.

WILDWOOD, Fla. - Special agents with Homeland Security Investigations in Tampa conducted worksite enforcement visits at construction sites in Wildwood. In a series of posts on its X account on Tuesday, the agency announced it's visiting "one of the fastest growing communities in the U.S." and has "arrested more than two dozen illegal aliens," some of which were previously deported, and the "illegal aliens are from Mexico, Guatemala & Honduras".

The Samaritan Resource Center is a drop-in center that provides help with government documents, finding jobs, getting medical care, and providing services like showers, laundry, and a supply pantry for people in need in the eastern part of the county.
