Nestled between Cypress Park, El Sereno, and the northern end of Downtown LA is one of Los Angeles’s oldest neighborhoods: Lincoln Heights. The neighborhood became the city’s first suburb in 1873, resulting in a middle-class residential neighborhood that eventually grew to be home to impressive daytime spots, a mix of longtime and new restaurants, one of Los Angeles’s most respected barbecue joints, breweries, a cocktail bar in a historic building, and more.
