The association welcomed MPP Todd McCarthy on June 25 to announce the annual Seniors Active Living Centre’s funding of $51,137, and also celebrated an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant of $19,200 to renovate the facility’s kitchen. A $14,500 Resilient Communities Fund grant provided mental health training for staff. “This funding enhanced our food preparation facilities, making our kitchen safer, more ergonomic, cleaner, and more efficient,” said Kristin VanDyke, relationships manager at the BOAA.
