Nerolab A restaurant chain from Italy self-described as an “Italian food zone” opened its first American location earlier this spring in New York. Nerolab debuted in the Trump Building in the Financial District at 40 Wall Street, between Nassau and William streets, in early April. The 350-seat space serves a Roman food menu, with pastries, breads, pastas, sorrisi (stuffed breads), Roman-style pizza, burgers (because, sure), and more. For drinks, there’s coffee, beers, and wines.

Eataly Massive Italian market chain Eataly is continuing to grow rapidly in New York this year, opening five new locations, which will include its first-ever airport locations. First, the company is opening its smaller offshoot in Manhattan next week. The first-ever Eataly Caffe will open at 1230 Sixth Avenue at West 49th Street near Rockefeller Center on Thursday, May 15.

Jabä New York chef Anthony Inn is going back to his Taiwanese roots with his new restaurant in Manhattan this week. Jabä opened in Midtown at 230 East 58th Street, between Second and Third Avenue, Midtown East on Tuesday, May 6.
