NISSWA — Pequot Lakes High School junior Josie Taylor already plans to attend a four-year college to major in dietetics and nutrition science. As Miss Nisswa 2025, she won a $3,000 scholarship to help with that endeavor. Taylor won the crown Saturday, April 12, at the 53rd annual scholarship competition at Nisswa Elementary School. "I am so excited. I was very surprised to hear my name being called, but I am so pleased," Taylor said after the competition.

NISSWA — Josie Taylor, a Pequot Lakes High School junior, claimed the Miss Nisswa title Saturday, April 12, at the 53rd annual scholarship competition at Nisswa Elementary School. First Princess is Ericah Folden, a Brainerd High School senior. Folden also won the essay and personal interview categories. Second Princess is Nikki Crocker, a Pequot Lakes High School junior. Candidates elected Autumn Schiller, a Brainerd High School senior, as Miss Congeniality.

PEQUOT LAKES — The Central Lakes Rotary Club raises funds to donate to a lot to area organizations and causes, and leaders say they could do more with more members. We are like super volunteers.
