MONTCLAIR, NJ - Residents in Montclair will soon have more options for overnight street parking, thanks to a newly adopted ordinance that expands eligibility across the township. The Montclair Mayor and Council officially passed Ordinance O-25-16, which amends Section 327 of the township code governing parking and traffic regulations. The changes took effect on Tuesday, May 28, 2025.

The RecRoom, which is a 9,000-square-foot coworking and community space, is scheduled to open in October 2025 within Montclair's Lackawanna Station. Originally constructed in 1913 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the station has undergone various transformations over the years.
