    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A cold front will dive into parts of Arkansas on Thursday, triggering scattered to spotty showers and storms. As the storms roll in, some could be strong to severe, and the potential for hail in the forecast for some parts of the state cannot be ruled out.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Due to the incoming weather conditions, a Weather Impact Alert has been issued by our THV11 meteorology team for Wednesday through Friday. The weather is expected to turn rapidly Wednesday afternoon and evening as storms explode over the region. The potential for one storm to produce a strong long tracked tornado is serious. The highest risk of an EF3 tornado or stronger is from central AR and East.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — After beginning the week with nice conditions, the weather will begin to go downhill as the next weather system arrives on Wednesday in Arkansas. The front will not sweep through the state, but instead, slams on the brakes and meanders back and forth with waves of heavy rain and storms riding along the boundary.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The THV11 Weather Impact Team continues to watch the trends on the potential of winter weather impacting the state on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. After analyzing a variety of data the confidence has grown enough to warrant a medium chance of winter weather happening in north and northwest Arkansas. This area will have the highest chance of seeing a mostly snow or all-snow event. Below is a small sample of the information we are combing through each day.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A THV11 Weather Impact Alert has been issued for Monday through 2:00 p.m. on Election Day (Tuesday). Heavy rain and the possibility of strong to severe storms may impact your plans and travel. Showers and storms are expected to develop in west Arkansas on Sunday afternoon. These storms are developing ahead of a cold front that will clear the region of severe weather by Tuesday afternoon.
