BISMARCK, N.D. (KXNET) — Julie Schirado of Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue came by to introduce everyone to Dash, her newest doggie companion. Dash is currently being fostered, but wanted to get out and about in the early morning hours. He enjoys just lounging around the house, or even in the car. But one condition that some may not know about is Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, or HIE. It’s a condition that affects pre-term and full-term infants, caused by oxygen deprivation during fetal development, labor, delivery, or even the post-natal period.

BISMARCK, N.D. (KXNET) — Julie Schirado from Furry Friends Rockin Rescue was kind enough to share the story of her newest canine companion, Penny. Poor Penny was found on the side of the road after it was reported that she was pushed out of a vehicle. While her breed is often associated with aggression and being mean, Penny is the farthest from that moniker.
