MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - After a beautiful, relatively comfortable weekend, the new week will get off to a warm and mostly dry start! Enjoy it, because hotter days are ahead along with typical summertime storms. Out-the-door this morning, temperatures are in the 60s under a partly cloudy sky. Winds are light to calm with spotty fog possible. Monday will feature plenty of sun with a few clouds. Highs will climb into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees and winds will be out of the northeast around 5 mph.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A cold front brings rain and storms today, but behind it, drier air moves in, setting up a nice weekend with lower humidity and plenty of sunshine across central and south Alabama. Out the door this morning we’re contending with dense fog in spots. Temperatures are in the 60s with clouds around and light winds. Through our Friday, expect a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will warm into the 80s, with southwest winds around 5 to 10 mph, gusting at times.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The unsettled, stormy pattern continues through today and Friday. However, a cold front arriving tomorrow will bring a noticeable shift in our weather pattern just in time for the weekend. It is a wet start to Thursday. Expect plenty of clouds and passing showers. Temperatures are mild in the 60s and 70s with westerly winds around 5 mph. Caution is urged on wet roadways when driving into work. Today will bring a healthy coverage of showers and thunderstorms.
