    The family behind River Island is drawing up the plan which could put a significant number of stores and jobs at risk, Sky News reports. It has been reported the chain's owners have drafted in advisers from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to devise a formal restructuring plan.     Officers were called to Kent Road near St Vincent Street in Glasgow at around 4.45am this morning (June 7) following a report of a man causing a disturbance. Several roads near the Mitchell Library were closed to the public this morning while police dealt with the incident.     Woman taken to hospital after section of motorway closed for more than three hours (Image: Colin Mearns) A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a section of a motorway was closed for more than three hours. Emergency services were called to Renfrew Road at around 5.40am this morning (June 7) following a report of concern for a woman. Several road closures were put in place with the M8 being closed at Junction 27 (Arkleston) in both directions at around 6am.
