Glasgow Street Aid (GSA), the city's only medical and welfare street team, has been turned down for several grants meaning they now only have enough money left to operate for nine months. Man taken to hospital after disturbance inside flat which saw road closed (Image: NQ) A MAN has been taken to hospital following a disturbance inside a flat in Johnstone. Emergency services were called to the property on Graham Street at around 12.30am on Saturday, May 3 following a report of a disturbance. The man was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for minor injuries. The 24-year-old was also arrested in connection with the incident.

At around 8.30pm yesterday (May 2), police signalled a grey Seat Leon to stop on Bothwell Road in Hamilton due to the nature of its driving. The driver did not stop but instead drove off from cops at high speeds along Bothwell Road, Bellshill Road and onto the M74 Northbound.
