Glasgow Street Aid (Image: Colin Mearns, Newsquest) A CHARITY offering medical assistance in the city centre could be forced to close due to a lack of funding. Glasgow Street Aid (GSA), the city's only medical and welfare street team, has been turned down for several grants meaning they now only have enough money left to operate for nine months. John Barclay, head of service, says they have been turned down for a lot of grant funding due to being "such a multifaceted service".

cafe andaluz (Image: Newsquest) A BELOVED Glasgow restaurant chain has given its menu the biggest update in more than 20 years. Café Andaluz, which has restaurants in the city centre and West End, have unveiled a host of new tapas dishes on their new spring/ summer 2025 menu. Tony Conetta, director at The DRG, says the new menu was developed after research which took the company to Spain.

Cristoforo Corvi, who owns Guido's Coronation Restaurant on Gallowgate, says it is “bizarre” that “nobody seems to be talking about it” despite knowing thousands of fans will likely gather on Trongate on Saturday, May 17 to celebrate their team winning the Scottish Premiership.
