ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — A man threw a small dog at an officer who was trying to arrest him Monday, and it was caught on video. Albuquerque police say Bobby Chavez, 41, was taken into custody on multiple charges after running away and then “briefly holding a woman hostage in an apartment.”An officer had told Chavez he was being detained for trespassing after he was seen standing near a “No Trespassing” sign outside DK Gas Station.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — We have a verdict in a murder trial from Russell County that was handed down Friday afternoon. Jayvon Phillips was found guilty on capital murder charges by a Russell County Circuit Court jury for the 2020 murder of Tameka Skinner. Phillips is one of four codefendants accused in the case. Russell County District Attorney Rick Chancey chose not to pursue the death penalty. Phillips is facing life in prison without parole when sentenced in April.

It reads, “You have an outstanding toll.Your toll account balance is outstanding. If you fail to pay by March 7, 2025. you will face penalties or legal action. Now Payment:”A link appears below the message for the receiver.
