MYRTLE BEACH — Just over a week after news broke that local authorities had reopened an investigation into a wheelchair-bound man's 2021 death, the Myrtle Beach Police Department confirmed the case has been closed once again. Chris Skinner, a 41-year-old quadriplegic father of twins, drowned on Sept. 6, 2021 in a community pool. Skinner became paralyzed in his early 20s. He was known for his dedication to faith and family.
