Longwood, Florida - En el Condado Seminole, las autoridades realizaron el primer arresto bajo la nueva ley que, desde enero, prohíbe dormir en espacios públicos. El arresto, ocurrido el 3 de marzo, tuvo lugar en un campamento de personas sin hogar en la zona boscosa cerca de una comunidad residencial en Longwood. Según documentos obtenidos por Telemundo 31 Investiga, los agentes patrullaron la zona de Raven Avenue el 1 de marzo, donde encontraron a al menos 10 personas sin hogar en el área.

A new way to connect Central and South Florida has arrived. After a decade of planning, testing, and delays, Brightline officially started service in Orlando on Friday. City officials came together to celebrate the arrival of the high-speed train to Central Florida. Brightline officials said the first train departed from Orlando at 6:38 a.m. on Friday. Ticket prices are $79, but according to the UCF Student Government, knights can get a student discount of 25%.

APOPKA, Fla. — Apopka police are asking for help finding a missing woman last seen on Saturday. Officers said Lee Nixoniasky Leclerc, 18, was last seen in her ring residence camera leaving around 5 a.m.Police said she was last seen wearing a white top with dark pants and a bonnet on her head, and her ears pierced. Leclerc is 5 foot tall and weighs 120 pounds, officers said.
