Transformers One demonstrates that perhaps this is a franchise that might have been best animated from the very beginning. With seven live-action movies released, all of them directed or produced by Michael Bay, there was a time when a Transformers movie would be a guaranteed blockbuster smash. The 2007 installment starred a younger, less controversial Shia LaBeouf with soon-to-be household name Megan Fox and went on to become the fifth-highest-grossing film of the year.

NYPD: Suspects wanted for multiple robberies across Bronx, Queens and •Jul 18, 2024, 1:44 PM•Updated 14 hr agoPolice are asking for help finding the suspects linked to multiple robberies that took place in July across the Bronx. According to the NYPD, two suspects would approach a victim, show their firearm, steal their money and get inside of a car and ride away. This incident happened three times from July 7 - July 16.

Next time you use a Citi Bike to get around your neighborhood, get ready to pay more than before. The price that riders pay by the minute has gone up by 20% starting this week. For annual members, that means an increase from 20 cents per minute to 24 cents per minute. For non-members, the increase is from 30 cents per minute to 36 cents per minute. The cost change applies to both electric and regular Citi Bikes.

The Bronx Museum of the Arts announced a $33 million plan to reconstruct its lobby and entrance. The main entrance will be moved from the south building to the north building at the Grand Concourse and East 165th Street. Organizers say they hope the redesign will provide more visibility and attract more visitors. Marvel, an architecture company based in Manhattan, helped create the redesign and break ground on the beginning of the reconstruction on Wednesday.
