    CLEVELAND, Ohio -- King Quality Produce is fighting against the West Side Market’s decision to terminate its lease effective April 30, launching a petition drive on the social media platform change.org, claiming the company is being targeted because husband-and-wife owners Aiman Ebrahaim and Maha Mikhael have been vocal in their criticism of conditions at the market and its leadership. The petition was started by Ebrahaim’s and Mikhael’s daughter, Kerestina Kahlil, a psychiatrist from Columbus.

    CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland’s popular downtown Food Truck Series rolls into town May 1 through September 30. From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., every weekday, people can find a food truck at one of five locations in the city. Cuisine will changes as more than 50-plus food trucks take a turn. Locations will also feature live local music.

    MADISON, Ohio – Easter isn’t just for kids. The Bunny Hop Wine and Cocktail Trail in Northeast Ohio’s Grand River Valley wine region launched this week and runs through April 30. Six different stops – four wineries, a distillery and a restaurant – pair two wine/cocktail samples with an appetizer or dessert for $8 per person. Additional seasonally themed cocktails will be available for a fee. Trail cards are available at any location.

Considered “the great American novel,” this relatively short masterpiece was published by Charles Scribner’s Sons on April 10, 1925, when Fitzgerald was just 28 years old. If you didn’t know, you might forget it was written during Prohibition. That’s because partying and drinking to excess are integral to the indulgent roaring 1920s novel.

    CLEVELAND, Ohio --Dancer and choreographer Raphael Xavier is bringing his newest creation, “Skiff” to Northeast Ohio this weekend. An hour-long work, it features the Philadelphia-based Xavier and guest dancers from Northeast Ohio. The work blends contemporary dance with breaking to explore “the aging body, race, privilege, and power while encouraging conversations of identity, legacy and lineage,” according to a press release from DanceCleveland.
