DEPEW, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 17-year-old male has been charged with attempted murder in connection to an alleged shooting in a Dollar Tree parking lot in Depew on Wednesday night, police said Thursday morning. Depew police responded to the store, located on Broadway, around 6:15 p.m. A 20-year-old female had been shot multiple times in the parking lot. The woman was transported to the hospital and is listed in stable condition. Lancaster police were also seen on scene. The suspect fled the scene.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The future ownership of KeyBank Center is up in the air as Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said his goal has always been to get the county out of the arena business. KeyBank Center’s lease is set to expire in September 2026, according to the county. Poloncarz said this is not something where he’s concerned about losing the Sabres, saying Buffalo is a great hockey market.
