PEARL, Miss. (WTOK) - The West Lauderdale Knights clinched their 16th State Championship in baseball on Friday afternoon. The Knights beat the Purvis Tornadoes 3-2 in Game 3 of the 4A State Championship series. A sacrifice fly off the bat of Kayden Peoples drove in Cooper Rainer, giving the Knights an early 1-0 lead in the 1st Inning. Rylan Kennedy got the bump to start Game 3 for West Lauderdale, and he battled all game long.
