CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Blue Jays and Guardians exchanged runs for nine innings Wednesday night at Progressive Field. But when the game went beyond regulation, it belonged to Cleveland. Jose Ramirez gave the Guardians a 5-4 win over over Toronto with a bases-loaded single off Mason Fluharty with no outs in the 10th. It was the Guardians fourth walk-off win of the season and made them 5-1 in extra innings this season.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Manager Stephen Vogt doesn’t like team meetings. It insinuates that something has gone wrong in a sport where it’s essential to have 26 players pulling on the same end of the rope. Let’s try this again. Shane Bieber has been scratched from Friday’s rehab start at Double A Akron because of a sore right elbow. Developed soreness after throwing a bullpen session on Tuesday.

Believe me, there are worse places to be than a ballpark in late April. The music and company are good.
