    A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed outside a pub. The 24 year old victim suffered a stab wound to his side following a dispute with three other men. Police said one of the men was donning a balaclava. Emergency services descended on the Glasshouse, on Lord Street in Southport, at around 7.40pm on Friday night (February 21) following reports of a stabbing incident. Authorities have confirmed that the victim was taken to hospital and his injuries are described as 'not serious'.

    Police believe a car pulled up and a passenger opened fireA man has rushed to hospital after being shot in the buttock in Liverpool. Officers raced out to Fountains Road in Walton, north of the city, at around 9pm on Friday night (February 21). Merseyside Police received reports that a man had been shot. According to the force, the victim left the scene in a car before officers arrived.

    A dad from Liverpool has been left 'distraught' after a tree fell on his taxi during Storm Darragh. Garry Gregory, 40 from Huyton, had been home for 10 minutes after finishing an airport run. The father-of-two heard a bang at around 2pm this afternoon (December 7) when he discovered that a tree had fallen on his taxi outside his home on Cromford Road. Photos sent by Mr Gregory to the Liverpool Echo shows the extent of the damage caused by the tree.
