    Indie rock artist Hayden Anhedönia, who is professionally known as Ethel Cain, performed a sold-out concert Tuesday night at Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland. While the show was under the umbrella of the PDX Live summer concert series, it also served as a stop on her international tour. The doors to the show opened about 30 minutes earlier than scheduled as the line looped around the block at least three times, with fans hoping to get their spot by the barricade.

    Iconic funk band Pleasure took the stage for the first time this year as headliners of the 52nd Annual Oregon Juneteenth Festival at Lillis-Albina Park on Saturday, June 15. Before splitting up in the 1980s, the band shared stages with groups including Earth, Wind & Fire and The Commodores. The Portland act’s music also played an important role in influencing artists such as Janet Jackson and Questlove.
