A man's body was found Thursday morning at Woodlawn Lake, according to San Antonio police. A passerby saw what appeared to be a torso sticking out of the water and called police about 8 a.m., according to the San Antonio Fire Department. A fire rescue team deployed a boat in the water and recovered the body of an unidentified man. The body showed evidence of trauma. Authorities believe the body may have washed upstream into the lake after storms this week.

A man is in critical condition after he was shot multiple times the Alamo Ranch area. The shooting occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the parking lot of a 54th Street restaurant, 5722 West Loop 1604 North, according to San Antonio police. The 29-year-old man was shot as he was leaving the restaurant with his girlfriend and his young child, who was between 1 and 2 years old, when they were leaving the restaurant, a sergeant on the scene said.

The body of a 25-year-old man has been recovered from Woodlawn Lake, authorities say. The San Antonio Police Department and the San Antonio Fire Department responded to a "water rescue incident" at Woodlawn Lake Park late Monday afternoon, according to police response records. The man was found in the lake near a tunnel, SAFD Battalion chief Mark Treviño told reporters at the scene on Monday evening.
