INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Gov. Mike Braun on Tuesday signed into law a ban on transgender women competing on college sports teams in Indiana. What was HB 1041 is an extension of the state’s similar law covering kindergarten through high school. The ban is essentially already in effect for colleges. An executive order from President Trump and a change in policy by the NCAA limit women’s sports to athletes assigned female at birth. This story was created using a script that aired on WISH-TV.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — You will soon have another chance to not throw away your show at seeing “Hamilton” in Indianapolis. The stage musical based on the life of Alexander Hamilton is set to make its third visit as part of the Broadway in Indianapolis 2025-26 season announced Wednesday. The show composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda will be at Old National Centre for a special two-week run Dec. 2-14. “Hamilton” previously toured through the city in 2019 and 2023.

The idea came from a consultant hired to help Wren with her burgeoning career more than two years ago. “At first, I was skeptical of the idea,” said Wren, 18, ahead of her “Taylor Swift Experience” show at the “Taylorween” party at HI-FI Indy.
