The LaFontaines have decided to "call it a day" after nearly 17 years in the music industry. They revealed the sad news in a message on social media, explaining that their last gigs would take place in London and Glasgow. 🚨 The final gigs are in London and Glasgow. We plan on making these as special as possible.

A GLASGOW restaurant has been added to the prestigious Michelin Guide. Malaysian spot GaGa in Partick is one of 23 new entries to feature in the guide after being added by inspectors in November. While new Michelin Stars, Green Stars, and Bib Gourmands are only revealed at the annual Michelin Guide Ceremony, the team add restaurants to the selection year-round.

Major road 'restricted' after early morning police incident (Image: Newsquest) A major road has been 'restricted' due to an earlier police incident. A collision involving two vehicles has occurred on the A726 eastbound near Eaglesham. Police have been called to the scene and drivers are being urged to be cautious when approaching. Traffic Scotland says road users can expect delays of around 19 minutes.

Eight people have been arrested in a massive police swoop on alleged organised crime in and near Glasgow. Officers investigating alleged organised crime and drugs offences executed 13 warrants across four divisions on Friday, November 29. They attended addresses in Glasgow, Cambuslang, Gartcosh, Barrhead, Renfrew and Saltcoats and arrested seven men and one woman.
