Tadcaster Albion are searching for a new manager after parting ways with Mick O’Connell following the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign. The Brewers finished the season 17th in the NCEL Premier Division and just two places above the relegation zone, albeit never having been in any real danger of going down.

Rob Youhill was “really happy” to see his Harrogate Railway side showcase their attacking quality as they signed off for 2024/25 with a victory. The Starbeck outfit have not done themselves justice in recent weeks, taking just one point from the previous 15 on offer prior to Saturday’s 3-1 success at Nostell Miners Welfare. And Rail’s joint-manager said he was thrilled to see his troops back to something approaching their best as an offensive force.

As a result, Martyn Wood’s team slipped to the foot of the table and now sit three points from safety with just one game left to play this term.

A blast of half-time ‘hairdryer treatment’ appeared to do the trick for Simon Weaver as his Harrogate Town side recovered from 2-0 down to draw with Grimsby on Saturday afternoon. Ellis Taylor's delightful 85th-minute finish and a Danny Rose own goal earned the Sulphurites another important point in their quest for League Two survival, cancelling out Kieran Green's sensational 70-yard opener and a Jason Svanthorsson strike in first-half stoppage time.
