Baraka was arrested by federal agents after a May 9 visit to the immigrant detention center with New Jersey Congress members LaMonica McIver, Rob Menendez and Bonnie Watson Coleman. In the lawsuit, he names Habba and Homeland Security Special Agent Ricky Patel, claiming he was subject to "false arrest and malicious prosecution" in violation of his Fourth Amendment rights.
