    AURORA, Colo. — An Aurora Police officer was injured while attempting to join a pursuit of a stolen vehicle Friday morning. At about 5:51 a.m., officers located a Ford F-150 Raptor that was reported stolen out of Denver, according to police. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop and led officers on a chase, police said.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office received an alert from their license plate readers about a stolen car from another jurisdiction at about 10 p.m.The car was located by deputies on northbound Interstate 25 at Castle Pines Parkway, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies tried to pull the car over but it sped away on E-470, the sheriff's office said.
