Katelyn Abeln, a graduate of South Paulding High School, is heading to Paris this summer to compete in her very first Olympics. Abeln will get a shot at helping her team to victory this summer. But then, at 23, she has a lot of experience with shot-taking and will compete in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol on July 27 and the Women’s 25m Sport Pistol on August 2.
