GREENWICH, CT — A 35-year-old New York man was found sleeping in a Greenwich apartment over the weekend, and police say he admitted to breaking in "to seek shelter from the rain."At approximately 8:30 a.m. on April 11, Greenwich police officers responded to an apartment in the Byram section of town on a report of an unknown man who was found sleeping on a couch "without permission," police said in an announcement.

GREENWICH, CT — Speed cameras are expected to be installed in 10 school zones in Greenwich after the Board of Selectmen held a public hearing and granted approval to police last week. The State of Connecticut must now approve permits before the cameras can be installed. According to Greenwich Police Chief James Heavey, that approval could come in the next 60 days, meaning cameras could be in place by the start of school in September.
