Colorado’s very own Wyndham Clark has qualified to represent Team USA in Paris at the 2024 Summer Olympics. The cutoff date for qualifying came on Monday as the U.S. Open wrapped up on Sunday. The system had the top 15 in the Official World Golf Rankings as eligible with no more than four players from any given nation. Then the rest of the 60-player pool was filled out with a maximum of two eligible players from each country.

Colorado high school biology teacher Colin Prater is teeing it up in one of golf’s most prestigious events this week. Colin Prater, whose day job is passing along knowledge to students at Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs, is in the field at the U.S. Open. The Colorado Buffaloes are coming off one of their most painful losses in program history, as the team blew a 29-point lead to a struggling Stanford Cardinal program. And then Deion Sanders’ Buffs just had to sit on it. Now finally off the bye, CU is back in Boulder and readying for the No. 23 UCLA Bruins on the road. Despite a 4-3 record, and already a massive jump from a season ago, Coach Prime is not happy with where Colorado is coming off the bye.

Saturday Night Live did a hilarious portrayal of Coach Prime 10 days ago, and he finally had a chance to respond when asked about it on Tuesday. The Buffs are coming off a bye, so their was no press conference for Deion Sanders last week. First, if you missed the skit, here it is. SNL veteran Kenan Thompson joined Colin Jost on the “Weekend Update” desk and delivered in a big way. There are so many good nuggets in here, you just have to take it in for yourself. Deion Sanders stops by the Update desk.

If you’re headed to Folsom Field for the Colorado Buffaloes homecoming against a heck of a team in Oregon State, be ready to stay until midnight. Deion Sanders’ crew got another wild kick-off time for a home game as it was announced on Monday that the Nov. 4 clash will kick off at 8 p.m. on ESPN. More likely, the game will kick off after 8:20 p.m. on the four-letter network as have the other two games with that start time in Boulder thus far this season.

Gabe Landeskog touched ice for the first time in 1,020 days and showed he still has plenty of fight left in him. Ans 50 miles South of Loveland, the Nuggets did the same. Rallying from 15-points down to stay undefeated in the post-Malone era. Happy Friday!

It’s been 1,468,000 minutes since Gabe Landeskog played meaningful hockey. And in his first 20 minutes back he has: - Found a quality shot on goal - thrown and received hits on both ends of the ice - stuck his nose in the middle of a scrum How cool is this? @DenSports1043
